Katadyn Rapidyn Filter Kit is an emergency filter for small to large groups who need clean drinking water temporarily. This ceramic microfilter removes bacteria, protozoa, sediments and particles larger than 0.2 microns without the use of chemicals. However, no essential minerals are removed. Depending on the water quality, the ceramic filter makes it easy to clean and reuse up to 20'000L. The output is up to 4L/h.
Complete independence as the bucket size can be chosen by the user and therefore also the group size. It is important that the bucket has an inside diameter of at least 27 cm and is made of food-safe material. Buckets are not included.
The filter does not require pumping or connecting to a faucet. The outlet tap will prevent dirty hands from contaminating the treated water.

This filter meets the "Highly Protective" requirements of the WHO Household Water Treatment Standard for bacteria and protozoa.
